Exit requirements are the list of classes that must be completed in order to graduate, or “exit”, from high school. Entrance requirements are the list of classes that must be completed in order to “enter”, or be admitted to a four-year college. (These college entrance requirements are also known as the A-G requirements.) In many schools, these lists of exit and entrance requirements don’t match. This means that a student who completes all high school graduation requirements, even with a 4.0 GPA, will not be able to attend a four-year college directly after high school.
As you can see in the table below, LVCP’s graduation requirements meet or exceed the entrance requirements for four-year universities. It is our intention that upon graduation all LVCP students will have the option to attend a four-year college.
