Livermore Valley Charter Prep High School (LVCP) offers a comprehensive guidance and counseling program based on the American School Counseling Association's (ASCA) National Model. This program consists of responsive services as well as a structured curriculum that is systematically implemented through our 9th-12th grade Advisory program. The goals of this program are to:
- Assist students with educational planning
- Assist students in the development of decision-making skills
- Facilitate personal growth and development
- Assist students in the planning process for college, career, and post-secondary pursuits
In addition to developing and implementing the guidance program and curriculum, the counselor’s role is to act as a facilitator and advocate, with the ultimate goal of helping students overcome any obstacle that might interfere with their ability to be successful in the educational setting.
The counseling department also maintains all student records and official transcripts. To request a transcript, please fill out the Transcript Request Form under the “Forms” link and submit it to the front office.
