Colin Dean

Colin Dean received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Polytechnic University  in Intermedia Composition. Under the instruction of Roy Main he served as principal trombone in many of the Universities Ensembles as well as musical director for numerous Intermedia collaborations. Mr. Dean has freelanced as an audio technician, recording engineer and consultant for the recording industry on the central coast of California.  Most notably he has performed trombone professionally in a number of award winning ensembles in a variety of styles including, jazz, ska, reggae and latin. In 2008, Mr. Dean earned his Single Subject Teaching Credential in Music at California State University East Bay while student teaching at James Logan High School in Union City. When he is not frantically conducting or explaining MIDI, he enjoys spending time feeding ducks with his wife and their children.
