Angela Tang

Before joining the LVCP family, Ms. Tang worked as a counselor at De Anza High School in Richmond, CA. She got her start in education at a young age; teaching gymnastics to 3-5 year olds. She did her undergraduate work at UC Irvine, graduating with a B.A in Sociology and a Minor in Education. She studied for her graduate degree at San Diego State University, receiving her M.S. in Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. During and immediately after graduate school, she worked for a community-based wraparound program in San Diego before moving back to the Bay Area. Ms. Tang is tri-lingual and speaks Cantonese and Spanish in addition to English. She is passionate about assisting students on their journeys to becoming well-rounded global citizens.
