What are the salaries like at LVCP?
LVCP staff members are paid salaries comparable to other public school employees in the area.
As a charter school, does LVCP offer its employees benefits?
LVCP offers a comparable plan to other public schools in the area.
Does LVCP have a retirement plan?
LVCP is part of the STRS/PERS program and also offers a 403B plan to its employees.
Do LVCP teachers move through a probationary period and into permanent status?
LVCP teachers are hired on an “at-will” annual basis. There is no move from probationary to permanent status and LVCP teachers are not part of a teacher’s union.
Do teachers acquire seniority at LVCP?
There is no seniority based upon hire date. LVCP teachers are evaluated annually based upon a process which the teachers designed.
